Fumiyo Ikeda started her dance career with Rosas in 1983 and today she still stands faithfully at side of the choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Talk about a service record! Nevertheless, during the course of her career she has also chosen her own direction. Last year for example she created the confrontational Nine Finger together with Benjamin Verdonck and Alain Platel. In 2009 she appeared in a collaborative piece with the British playwright and director Tim Etchells, who is famous for his work for Forced Entertainment.
